Where: Arm Warmer

Before we know it, it will be chilly. The weather will call for winter coats, knit hats, snow boots, and cozy scarves. My newest winter love are arm warmers. Not only are they stylish but they keep you warm from finger to elbow.

These ombre fine knit pair below are one of my favorites this season. To purchase please click on the photo below.

Sunday Sit Down: Who: Their Favorite Things

I finally got around to reading New York Magazine’s Fall Preview issue. One of my favorite features is “Their Favorite Things.” The two page spread reports on what one hundred city merchants deem their most exciting items. And some of theirs include one I’ve reported on before.

Take for instance, Go Toob! I love Flight001 and apparently the merchants are just as excited about the Toobs as I am. Another interesting pick is a charging station for iPods and phones at Mxyplyzyk. The decorative lawn like facade hide the messy cords.

As I crack open a can of Schweppes seltzer water, I think: Wouldn’t it be nice if this was running from my tap…Not yet, but there is a seltzer maker you can purchase at Panhandler.

How: Put A Lid On It

Starbucks mornings and coffee jolted commutes to work usually involve endless paper cups. I daily aim to be one of the many travel cup coffee/tea advocates but when I’m rushing it’s easy to stop off and order one to go.

For the same look and feel of a rushed morning I’ve discovered this eco-friendly, adorable travel cup on Fred Flare. And for only $14!

The cup is dishwasher and microwave safe. With a porcelain casing and silicon top it’s bound to be spill free. Do we love?

Where: Opening Ceremony Tokyo

One of my guilty pleasures is “fashion flipping.” On occassion I will update myself on all the latest faces, trends, and statments made by the photographed and posted on Style.com. I find these images provide insight to the “who’s who” and “what should I be wearing RIGHT NOW.”

For instance, while scanning party, “Let the Games Begin,” a photo album dedicated to the opening of Opening Ceremony in Shibuya, Tokyo, Erin Wasson was spotted (literally) in this outstanding outfit.

My eyes go directly to her shorts. As we’ve reported before, animal print is hot moving into fall, and shooties are coming full swing from the early 90′s. As casual as Wasson’s top may seem it does dress up the outfit allowing space and focus to remain on her brilliantly layered necklaces. The outfit is easily dressed up with stacked bangles and a black leather belt. If you’re digging Wasson’s look get it here…

Get a set of simple bangles by SURevolution for just $50 and layerable cross and dog tags by Renee Garvey and BB Becker. Shooties are easy to come by these days, being that they are one of the most popular trend for fall. Get yours from designers like Strutt Couture and Melissa Ashanti
